About these terms
These terms apply to the educational advisory, admissions consultancy, tuition and workshop services provided by ThorntonbyChelsea, and to your use of this website. By engaging our services you agree to these terms, together with any written proposal we send you.
Our services
We provide advice and preparation based on our professional judgement and experience. Admissions decisions rest with schools and universities, and examination results depend on many factors. We therefore cannot guarantee any particular offer, place or grade.
Consultations and engagement
Services begin once we have agreed the scope, schedule and fees with you in writing. Fees are confirmed during your consultation and set out before any work begins.
Fees and payment
Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We may pause services where invoices remain unpaid.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least the notice period set out in your written agreement to cancel or rearrange a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged in full. We will always try to offer a suitable alternative time.
Your responsibilities
Please provide accurate information about your child's needs and circumstances, and ensure a responsible adult is available for sessions involving younger children where agreed.
Intellectual property
Materials we provide are for your family's personal use and may not be copied, shared or resold without our permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability in connection with our services is limited to the fees paid for the services concerned.
